I was definitely able to get a fuller midrange out of the bose speakers. I've had mine hooked up for over a year now and have never had a problem with distortion or engine noise pickup. I've had mine hooked up for over a year now and have never had a problem with distortion or engine noise pickup.

I think the results are better than bypassing the amp and letting a new head unit power new door speakers. I was wanting to put the Pioneer HU w/ i Pod connector in my 99 miata that I took out of my truck when I sold it but was hesitant due to lack of clear instructions on how to make the Bose Amp work with the Scosche harness. Fellas, Why piss away $40 on a Scoche adaptor when you can just as easily regulate HU output (and avoid overdriving Bose amp) by using the front-to-rear fader option on the HU?

On the stereo side, connect this splice to the "Remote Line," which is a blue wire with a white stripe. it was a simple process that took about 10 minutes.

All you need is two lengths of wire, an on/off toggle switch, and some electrical tape.

My 2005 Legacy GT had an amazing factory stereo, for instance.

So did my college commuter car, a dodge neon, after I'd put in amped component speakers all around.

Replacement was a 10 minute job.bought this to replace the door handle due to my old one breaking, great and easy to replace, just takes 2 screws and in and out.

the only thing i recommend is reinforcing the little tab on the back so that its harder to snap or break off.

I did it with the i Pod playing and the car not running so on the road I have to turn the volume up. Funny thing is my son and I did the same thing when we were installing an aftermarket stereo in his car.
